Set of 3 Small Decorative Pierced Circular Porcelain Dishes

A refined trio from early-twentieth-century Germany. Each dish features a delicately pierced rim and a cobalt blue iris rendered in underglaze decoration. The gilt edge speaks to a time when even small things were made with care.

Perfect for the collector's table or for:

  • Appetizer/dessert plate — small enough for a single pastry, cookie, or fruit
  • Bread plate — narrow enough for one slice or a roll
  • Condiment dish — for serving olives, nuts, or small bites

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or restoration.

Origin: Germany, c. 1900–1920, sourced in Rome, Italy

Details:

  • Blue underglaze decoration
  • Pierced reticulated border
  • Gold gilt rim
  • Factory mark (JT)
  • 10 cm diameter

Roman Estates sources authentic 18th–20th century Italian and European antiques directly from private Roman estates and historic dealers. Each piece is individually selected for quality, provenance, and design merit.

A note on antiques: Antiques aren't new — that's the whole point. Every scratch, patina mark and sign of age is a badge of honour, not a defect. Detail photos are unfiltered and show the piece exactly as it is. We're happy to provide additional photos or videos upon request. All sales are final, so take a good look, ask us anything, and buy what you love.
