Late 18th Century Dutch Polychrome Painted Pine Cabinet*

Hand-painted pine with polychrome vegetable-based stains covering nearly every visible surface—top, sides, and all three drawer fronts are decorated with elaborate scrolling foliate patterns, ornamental borders, and hand-painted floral sprays in muted greens and rose tones. Cast iron keyhole plates with ornamental borders frame each drawer. Original cast metal pulls. The wood carries authentic patina from nearly 250 years of use.
