Provenance & Context
Marta Marzotto (1931–2016) was an iconic Italian fashion designer and countess who extended her refined aesthetic to ceramics. This reticulated dish exemplifies her signature style: delicate pierced porcelain with hand-painted botanical beauty. Such signed pieces are increasingly rare and collectible.
Styling & Use
Display as a sculptural decorative object or use for serving fruit and pastries at formal table settings. Pairs beautifully with mid-century Italian design and modernist interiors.
Roman Estates sources authentic 18th–20th century Italian and European antiques directly from private Roman estates and historic dealers. Each piece is individually selected for quality, provenance, and design merit.
A note on antiques: Antiques aren't new — that's the whole point. Every scratch, patina mark and sign of age is a badge of honour, not a defect. Detail photos are unfiltered and show the piece exactly as it is. We're happy to provide additional photos or videos upon request. All sales are final, so take a good look, ask us anything, and buy what you love.
