Set of Five Deruta Hand-Painted Mugs
Five ceramic mugs from Deruta, the Italian pottery center known for hand-painted majolica. Each features scrolling botanical motifs in cobalt blue, rust, and yellow—rendered with the restraint that makes Deruta work feel both decorative and functional.
The painted ceramic handles match the body; the rope-detail edge is molded into the rim and handle.
A set that works as collected tableware or as styling pieces.
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks.
Origin: Deruta, Italy, mid-to-late twentieth century

Roman Estates sources authentic 18th–20th century Italian and European antiques directly from private Roman estates and historic dealers. Each piece is individually selected for quality, provenance, and design merit.
A note on antiques: Antiques aren't new — that's the whole point. Every scratch, patina mark and sign of age is a badge of honour, not a defect. Detail photos are unfiltered and show the piece exactly as it is. We're happy to provide additional photos or videos upon request. All sales are final, so take a good look, ask us anything, and buy what you love.
